What is Certifications?

In short

The standards a maker states on its own site, covering business ethics, materials, ingredients and manufacturing quality.

Certifications are the standards a maker says its company or its products meet, listed by the maker itself. They cover business ethics, banned-substance screening, materials and manufacturing quality. Arc'teryx lists recycled and PFC-free for its bird head toque, which speaks to the materials used. AG1 lists Informed Sport, a screening mark used in sport. Arrival Creatine lists vegan and organic, and Beautycore lists GMP, a manufacturing quality practice, while Adday Wellness lists B Corp. Each mark means something different, so read the list rather than count it.
