Our verdict

Precision Biotics suits shoppers who will reorder a gut supplement every month and want the 20% subscription saving rather than buying a single bottle. Its counterparty is a retailer rather than a maker, so buyers who prefer a brand's own desk may want to read the terms first.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • A return window of 14 days, so a first order does not have to be a permanent decision.
  • Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free formats, which takes label reading out of the choice for shoppers with those restrictions.
  • The seller behind the checkout is a company registered in the United Kingdom, so delivery terms and returns sit with a named business.
  • Gut health and sleep and stress lines under one brand, so a routine can be built without shopping a second supplier.

Cons

  • The saving is tied to a monthly subscription rather than a first order, so a single bottle of Alflorex Original is paid at £24.99 with no reduction attached.
  • Dispatch is listed for the United Kingdom, so readers buying into another market are reading terms written for a UK order.
  • The contract of sale sits with The Hut.com Limited, so questions about the formula end up with the retailer that fulfills the order.

Who it suits

  • Shoppers who already know they will reorder every month and can take the subscription route.
  • Readers who plan a supplement budget by the serving rather than by the bottle.
  • People who want a named UK business on the other side of delivery problems and returns.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Readers ordering into another market, since the listed delivery terms are written for UK orders.
  • Shoppers after a lower figure on a single bottle, since the saving comes with a monthly subscription rather than a first order.
  • Buyers wanting a wide supplement mix beyond gut and sleep and stress lines, who may also want to look at Life Extension or Thrive Market.

Plans and prices

Precision Biotics puts its prices on the products themselves, so a first order starts with a product listing rather than a membership tier. Alflorex Original, its daily gut supplement, is the entry line at £24.99, and that bottle works out at £0.83 per serving as sold. That per-serving figure is the number worth carrying into a monthly budget, because it stays put when the same bottle is ordered again, and reorders of Alflorex Original are charged at the same listed figure. The price and the serving cost are quoted for that one product, so a different line in the range carries its own figure rather than this one, which matters if you are weighing a gut bottle against a sleep and stress product.

Core features

Subscription pricing is the one lever that changes what a repeat buyer pays. Monthly deliveries come with 20% off, so a shopper already certain they will reorder every month ends up paying less per bottle than someone buying a single bottle, while the single-bottle buyer stays at the listed figure. The other term worth planning around is the return window, which runs to 14 days. That is shorter than the stretch a gut routine usually needs before anything feels different, so anyone deciding on first impressions is committing early.

The company behind it

The name on the contract of sale is The Hut.com Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom, and that is the party a delivery problem or a return is handled with, the retailer that fulfills the order. Contact runs through an online message centre inside the account area, a phone line and a help centre. For anyone who would rather speak to a person than type, that spread is workable, and keeping the account area in use puts order history in one place when a query needs a reference.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Precision Biotics cost?+

Alflorex Original, the daily gut supplement, is listed at £24.99, which comes out at £0.83 per serving on the bottle as sold. Prices sit on the products rather than on membership tiers, so a repeat order of that same bottle is charged at the same figure. The per-serving number is the steadier one to budget from.

How long do I have to return an order?+

The return window runs to 14 days, which gives room to change your mind but is shorter than many gut routines need before anything feels different. Worth weighing before ordering: if you are judging the product on how digestion feels, that clock starts when the box arrives, not when the routine begins.

Who am I actually buying from?+

Your contract of sale is with The Hut.com Limited, the retailer named in the terms, and it is that company which handles delivery problems, returns and refunds for the order. The business is registered in the United Kingdom, so there is a named entity behind the checkout rather than an anonymous seller. Questions about the formula still start there on the paperwork, which is worth knowing before a return window closes.

How do I get in touch about an order?+

Support runs on chat, phone and help centre, so an online message centre inside your account, a phone line and a help centre are all open routes, and an existing order goes through the retailer named as The Hut.com Limited. Keeping the account area in use also keeps your order history in one place, which helps when a query needs a reference to hand.

Which countries does Precision Biotics ship to?+

Dispatch is listed for UK orders only, so these prices and these delivery terms are written for UK buyers. Anyone ordering into another market should expect the terms to apply differently and check before checkout rather than after a parcel turns up. The serving figure quoted alongside is a UK figure too, at £0.83 per serving on Alflorex Original as sold.

What does Precision Biotics sell?+

The range runs from a daily gut supplement to sleep and stress formulas, with the gut line the one carrying a published price per serving. Alflorex Original is the product quoted at £24.99, and it works out at £0.83 per serving as sold. Each product is quoted and priced on its own, so other lines carry their own figures.

Is Precision Biotics suitable if I avoid certain ingredients?+

The gut supplement listing describes itself as vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, so shoppers with those restrictions do not have to filter the range before choosing. Those formats cover the daily bottle listed at £24.99. Check the pack labelling for anything outside the gut line, since the attributes are stated product by product rather than for the whole range.
