Pros and cons
Adept Knives
Pros
- Items start at $11.99, below RollerSkateNation at $59.99 and far below Gleeride at $349.
- The free delivery threshold of $0 keeps shipping off the bill on a single small order.
- Support runs on email and phone, giving buyers a phone line as well as email for order questions.
Cons
- A return window of 30 days is shorter than Academy at 60 days, so buyers who want longer to decide have less slack.
- The store lists US as its market, so delivery and return terms outside that country are not covered.
- Support runs on email and phone, with chat and a help centre absent from the listed channels.
AktivWinter
Pros
- Items start at €3, which puts AktivWinter at position 1 of 67 brands on price from.
- Delivery is free above €125, so a full kit clears the threshold without a shipping charge.
- A repair service is offered, so gear that takes a tear goes back for fixing rather than to the scrapheap.
Cons
- The terms do not include a lifetime warranty, so long-term cover rests with statutory rights.
- Returns run 14 days, well short of the 30-day window at the middle of the tracked sites.
- Free delivery only starts at €125, so a small order still carries a delivery charge.
Who each suits
Adept Knives
Who it suits
- US buyers picking up a first kitchen or pocket knife on a tight budget
- Shoppers placing one small order who want shipping at no extra cost
- People who prefer to sort order questions by phone or email
Who should look elsewhere
- Academy, for shoppers who want a longer return window of 60 days
- RollerSkateNation, for buyers already set on skates and kit priced from $59.99
- Gleeride, for anyone shopping for electric bikes from $349 rather than knives
AktivWinter
Who it suits
- Shoppers buying for several sports in a season, since winter sports, outdoor clothing and camping all sit under the same roof.
- Budget-led buyers, since items start at €3 and delivery is free above €125.

- Shoppers after the same range from a chain retailer, since Decathlon lists camping, hiking and outdoor clothing.
- Buyers who want a single maker to follow, since Runmefit covers activewear and hiking and AktivWinter is a store rather than a maker.

Questions about each
Adept Knives
How much does a knife cost at Adept Knives?+
Items in the store start at $11.99. That is the opening price across the range, listed plainly rather than as a promotional rate attached to a membership tier. A buyer working to a budget can plan around one known number.
Do I have to hit a spend threshold for free delivery?+
There is no spend threshold to clear: the free delivery threshold sits at $0. A single cheap knife therefore ships without a delivery charge being added at checkout, which suits buyers placing one small order rather than stocking up.
AktivWinter
What does the cheapest gear at AktivWinter cost?+
Prices open at €3 in the ski clothing range, and that entry point places AktivWinter at position 1 of 67 brands in the price comparison. Higher-priced pieces sit above that figure, so the starting price points to the low end rather than a typical basket.
Does AktivWinter charge for delivery?+
Delivery is free once an order passes €125, and a charge can apply below that level. It pays to check the basket total before paying, and adding another item to reach the threshold is easier than covering a delivery fee on a small order.
